This Thermostat is programmable and includes a free remote sensor to sense temperature in a close by room to thermostat mounted location. This is ideal for a house or business that has a thermostat mounted in a bad location (i.e. high sun-exposure area, room that is too hot or too cold, too high or low). With the remote sensor you have the choice to have the thermostat read the temperature in a nearby location without having to relocate the low voltage thermostat wire and drill holes in your wall.
